Biography

Babita Jaishankar is a professional makeup artist based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. She is the dynamic force behind WSol, a consultancy that offers image imagination expertise to corporate entities and individuals.  She also runs an exclusive clothing line of  WSol, BAJA, a store for women that offers global wear with tradition Indian fabrics, both offline and online. Style Me/Empower Me is a social initiative spearheaded by WSol to empower the underprivileged youth to help them get more employment. After she completed her diploma in fashion technology from GIFT, Ahmedabad, Babita went to get certified as a colour and skin consultant from US and later worked as a colour analyst for several years. After she returned to India, she honed her business skills with a management course for women entrepreneurs from IIM, Bangalore. Having been brought up as an army kid, being individualistic and a go-getter comes naturally to her. This also provides her an edge while dealing with people from across a multi-cultural society. Babita has worked widely with people on a personal level to help them identify their individual style based on their personality, career, likes and dislikes, and their lifestyle. She also offers counselling to individuals and corporate entities upon the importance of private branding and how they are looked upon in their day to day life.
