My Compelling Story

A singer, musician and a radio jockey, she is the bedroom of talent and grace that wins the heart of the people. Ayesha Barretto is a professional singer based out of the capital city of Goa, Panaji. Her fragrant voice captivates the audience and draws their undivided attention. She sings in English only and has become a favourite of the tourists. This has made her develop an interest in Portuguese songs as well. She is a gifted singer with a soulful and mesmerising voice. Having a very good ear for music, she instantly clicks along with the note that is being played.  Ayesha is a writer by profession and freelances as a singer and musician. Her success in singing was lauded by the audience all over. She received suggestions for trying a shot at the radio. Ayesha applied for interviews at a few popular radio stations in the city. What seemed a casual walk soon turned out to be a budding career for her. She got selected at one of the radio stations and has been working there for over a year now. Ayesha has earned a decent number of fans who are hooked to the radio at the time of her live shows. She currently sings with one of Goa's hottest live acts called Bell Bottoms, led by Goa's percussion star, Carlos Gonsalves.
