My Compelling Story
Aver is a LIVE band based out of the capital of Tamil Nadu, Chennai. The band was formed in 2015 and plays fusion music. The eight-piece Indian contemporary band draw their influences from classical, folk, pop, country, EDM, and dubstep music. They play in a variety of languages to cater to all generations and bring uniqueness to their music. Their name comes from the Latin word, ‘Aver’ which means 'to assert or affirm with confidence,' in addition to its Malayalam meaning, 'they,' representing humanity as a whole. They have played at a lot of venues in and around Chennai like college fests and private and corporate events.
