AUM is a LIVE rock band formed in 2005 and based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The band started off doing covers at pubs and hotels across India. In 2007, the band realized their true potential when they stood as the runner-up for the Kingfisher Kerala Rocks and were the finalists of NLS Strawberry Fields in 2007, Bangalore. There has been no looking back ever since, and their love and passion for music have made them traverse a repertoire of genres like classic rock, alternative, grunge, hard rock, metal, etc. The band has pulled together through the thick and thin because of this passion and the unending support from all of their fans. Band Members: Balu – Don't go by his quiet demeanor. He's the Mr Music of the band with years of experience under his belt; you can be assured of his rock-steady techniques and groovy bass lines. Preeth – Mind-blowing guitar soloing has been this man's specialty. Fast guitar solos and superlative improvisations have impressed a lot of people across a multitude of gigs pan-India. He brings an energy to the stage that is beyond comparison and sets the lead guitars on fire. Daya – The Drummer Man! Incredibly talented, yet a shy-next-door boy, he is constantly in demand as a guest drummer to support other bands. Timi – Independent singing is his style. His rugged look and his singing captures every eye and ear. He carries his harmonica wherever he goes.
