Atingkok is a Manipur-based professional LIVE band. The band is a famous trio that plays alternative folk music. They have performed at many events and pubs across India. Atingkok is inspired by folk songs of Manipur. The band members are well trained in the indigenous Manipuri instruments. Most of their songs are self-composed and are based on traditional folklore. The songs are also sung in the local folk style. The band first started out as Brown and played at Festival of Andro, Manipur along with session artists like Sumit from The Koi, and Sunil & Karnajit from Imphal Talkies and the Howlers. Later, with the addition of Yaima on the Pena and Tombi on Langden duties, the band changed their name to Atingkok, which translates as Infinity. The alternative folk band is lead by Bronson Irengbam, who writes, composes and plays the guitar with Laifangbam Suraj Roy playing the Pena and Senjam Hemjit Meitei on the Langden and percussion duties. They are inspired by bands 'Imphal Talkies and the Howlers' and 'The Koi'.
