Biography

Ateetam is a LIVE band based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The core polyphony of the band’s name traces their origins back to where the harmony and melody vibrate in their pulses. With a vision of breaking the barriers of race, religion, and culture, Ateetam ignites musically-tuned souls to the sound of oriental and occidental worlds. Ateetam creates ear-echoing soundscapes with the concept of Raag-Harmony and collaborates it with visual art forms and aesthetic movements of dance called Resonance. They start their musical set with peaceful Indian-traditional classical compositions followed by a series of intellectually intriguing original music compositions of the band. The band’s songs like Dawn of the Dusk, The Lonely Journey, Emotions, On the Way, The Path Finder, Innocence, and Silent Ocean symbolically represent the band’s journey and their search of the soul towards freedom, which ends in silence.
