A highly trained vocalist in Western and Hindustani classical music from various reputed institutes, Ashrita Dsouza will truly mesmerize you with her music!
Ashrita Arockiam is a professional singer based out of the capital city of Telangana, Hyderabad.
Born in Delhi, she stepped into the world of music at the age of seven. She set off her musical career by getting trained in Hindustani classical music.
Then, at the age of 13, she set her hands on the keyboard and commenced her basics in Western music Theory from Sandesha Music Institute, Mangalore.
She attained her 7th Grade in Piano from Royal Schools of Music London, while pursuing her degree in commerce from Hyderabad.
She joined KM Music Conservatory (AR Rahman's school of music), Chennai, after the completion of Masters in English literature. This is where she indulged in Western classical music (vocals) and got trained by a renowned artist and teacher from the United States.
She is also doing her Voice Culture Technique from an eminent Russian operatic singer, Luidmila.
After two years of training in Western classical vocals and musical theatre, she completed her 8th Grade in Western Voice from Royal Schools of Music.
She was a faculty for Western Voice at AR Rahman’s School in Chennai. She has done a couple of concerts with AR Rahman as well.
Currently, she is training students in voice and piano.
