Biography

Ashok Bhandari is a professional magician based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. He is a famous name in the magic world. Ashok thinks that magic is a healthy mode of entertainment. Therefore, he likes to fuse his magical acts with music and theater to make it more appealing. Ashok mainly focuses on exposing the magic abuse, to show the audiences how easy it is to cheat people using magic. He educates people through his acts and demonstrates them the ways of magic the taantriks and Godmans perform to fool people. With over 40 years of experience, Ashok has done more than 1000 shows in India and also worldwide. When he was only five, he got awarded by Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru (then Prime Minister of India) in 1962. When he was 12, he got awarded by Smt Indira Gandhi in 1969. He also received an award by the then President of India, BD Jatti, at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. He also got the Wonderking award by the people of Japan when he did a show at the Japanese Hawaiian Center for three consecutive months.
