My Compelling Story

Ashima Sharma is an Indian Bollywood actress and a model. Ashima has completed Masters in Kathak from Mahila PG Mahavidyalaya. She joined BJP's student wing ABVP there. She also learned Karate and was the University President there. He dancing skill caught the attention of Sachindra Sharma, writer of the hit movie, My Friend Ganesha. Her enthusiastic act immediately made Sachindra realize that he has found the star for his first movie as a director , Mumbai Can Dance Saala. The film was based on the real-life story of crorepati bar dancer Tarranum Khan. Ashima went over several articles on Tarranum and even learned from bar dancers. The movie did not do well at the box office, but Ashima gained a richer experience of acting with stars like Shakti Kapoor, Aditya Pancholi among many others.
