Ash is an individual Producer and a DJ. His style moves through genres that range from tech-house to minimal to techno. Soupherb Records was Ash Roy's own dance music record label. The aim of the Soupherb Records was to provide a platform for advanced thinkers and Experimental music producers in the genres of Minimal, Techno, House and all the sub-genres. Other than the homegrown label, his music has been released on various other prestigious labels such as Trapez Ltd., Monocline, Creepy Finger, and Buena Onda amongst others. Ash also has a fantastic electronica band named Jalebee Cartel founded in 2014, which gained massive popularity globally. Ash Roy won two prestigious awards in 2014: MyFav India's 'Best Techno DJ' for the year 2014 VH1 Sound Nation's 'Best Electronic DJ The start of 2015 got him MyFav India’s ‘Best Producer of the Year’ 2015 award. The year 2015 saw his music release on labels such as Monique Musique, Tulipa Recordings, and No Sound Music.
