My Compelling Story

Arha is a LIVE band based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The rock/metal outfit was founded back in 2011. The name, Arha, derives its name from the Sanskrit language and the word translates to ‘deserving’. With each member having his own individual likes and influences, the band`s music has taken on a unique style of its own. Arha brings the dark and hard-hitting metal music together with the complicated structures of Indian classical music. While the band usually writes in Kannada or Hindi, the music is something that will speak to everyone - despite the lingual differences. The band draws its major influences from artists such as Metallica, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Scorpions, Megadeth, The Doors, Godsmack, Evanescence, Slayer, Black Sabbath, Draconian, Accept, Pink Floyd, Rammstein, Tool, and much more.
