Biography

Anurag Abhinav is a professional singer based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. He was born in a traditional Hindu family and grew-up in a family of artists, educators, and scientists. His family has always loved and practiced various forms of arts and literature excluding music. Anurag was the first one to choose music as a learning subject in his family. At the young age of 14, his parents recognized his singing talent and decided that he should start his formal training in Hindustani classical music. His parents were well-known fine artists, educators, poets and literary scholars of Patna, Bihar. Anurag completed his matriculation and started taking proper training of Hindustani classical music from his guru without wasting any more time. From the very beginning, he had the opportunity to meet many great artists and musicians and appear in various performances. Anurag completed his graduation with Zoology in the year 1998. Further, he completed his post-graduation in Zoology stream from Magadh University in the year 2000. Anurag has mastery on both Indian and western music. He has been performing music on many stages, TV, radio, and other private platforms at various places throughout India.
