Biography
Anu Menon is a professional standup comedian based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She completed her master’s degree in drama from London and pursued a career in dramatics in Mumbai. She was known as Lola Kutty on Channel V. Her stage credits include Lillete Dubey’s Sammy, Raell Padamsee’s Noises Off, Divya Palat’s A Personal War which won an award at the Edinburgh Theatre Festival, Rage’s One on One, Part One and Two and QTP’s God of Carnage. She presently works as a stand-up comedian and opens for Brad Sherwood and Colin Mochrie of Whose Line Is It Anyway Fame during their tour in India. She has co-written Rinse Cycle, which is a two woman sketch show. She has a dream of doing a shampoo commercial or an item number.
