Biography
This young lady showed a sharp early enthusiasm for music and her dad motivated her. Antara grew up with music as her dad is a music educator. Since the age of three, Antara would chime in with other youngsters who went to her home to gain from her dad. Antara Mitra was acknowledged as a contender at an age of 18 on a national TV show, Indian Idol 2. She demonstrated and contended commendably as a finalist in, both, that show and a progressive comparative show Junoon. At one time she considered contemplating pharmaceutical, yet deserted the thought for seeking after an expert singing profession. Achievements: Top 5 finalist in Indian Idol 2 in 2006 on Sony TV Bollywood Playback Singer since 2007 Sung more than 15 playbacks for Bollywood actors like Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Aishwariya Rai Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Bipasha Basu, Genelia D'souza, etc.
