Ankit Tiwari is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The music director and playback singer has won more than 30 Indian awards including IIFA, Filmfare, GIMA, ZeeCine, Screen and Mirchi Music Awards. He not only produces fresh pieces of melody with his remarkable talent but also enriches its internal essence by giving them life. He believes that every creation has a direct contact with the supreme power of God. With his unique and mature style of composing, he started with some remarkable projects like Do Dooni Chaar directed by Habib Faisal, starring Neetu Singh Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia starring Jimmy Shergill, Mahi Gill and Randeep Hooda and after that came the musical blockbuster of the year, Aashiqui2, directed by Mohit Suri starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. Bollywood knocked at his door at an early stage of his musical journey while he was pursuing his academics and working on corporate ads and jingles. Ankit has worked for an FM Radio Channel as the production head in his early stage of musical career. Ankit bagged a handful of projects with the likes of Balaji Telefilms, Vishesh Films, T-Series, Rajshree Productions, Tips Movies and Tigmanshu Dhulia Films of their film songs and background scores. With his vision and dreams larger than life, he turned into a solo music director and in this endeavour, his dream came true when he got the chance to work with Vishesh Film’s Aashiqui2. He created the love anthem Sun Raha Hai and the world went crazy. With his background in Indian classical and inspirations like Ricky Martin, AR Rahman, Micheal Jackson to name a few, his work is a fine amalgamation of a very fresh and out of the box mix of the east and the west.
