Anil has been shooting for various editorial and advertising clients in India, and has successfully dabbled in many genres of photography, including portraits, still life, lifestyle, fashion, interiors, and architecture. His personal work consists of travel photography, street photography, and portrait photography. He is inspired by the surrealism of Dali and Lighting of Rembrandt. He admires the work of Sir Richard Avedon, Mario Testino, David LaChaplle, Steve Mc Curry, Patrick Demarchelier, and Miles Aldridge. He feels that his strength is his style and sense of lighting, which makes him comfortable while shooting different genres. He believes that the “life is never so bad that it can‘t get worse, so be with whatever you have, wherever you are and whatever you do.”
