Himanshoo Ashok Malhotra is an Television actor based in Mumbai. He was born and brought up in Delhi only. Himanshoo belongs to a punjabi family and wanted to become an actor since his childhood. After doing his graduation, he participated in "Zee Cinestars ki khoj" in year 2004 and a got selected in it. Himanshu got a lot of fame through that reality show. His first television serial was in year 2008,'Champs' on UTV Bindaas and the role played by him was "Raj". Then in 2009, he did another serial named "Shubh Kadam", playing the role of a "Swayam". During that year only he was doing another serial on Zee Tv, 'Aapki antara'. He made the Debut in bollywood through the movie, 'Khujli', directed by raj sippy. He has also made appearances in the famous serials like "Kitni Mohabbat hai", "Pavitra Rishta", "Love ya Arranged Marriage". The important and turning point in Himanshoo's life was the when he and his wife were asked for "Nach Baliye 7". He and his wife participated in it and after the sheer dedication, hard work and love of the audience, the bagged the Trophy of "Nach Baliye 7". He has recently joined the new T.V. Serial on Life OK named 'Ek Nayi Umeed'.
