My journey with Kathak began at the tender age of 4, when I first stepped into the world of classical dance. What started as a childhood curiosity soon transformed into a lifelong passion. By the age of 6, I was already performing on stage, finding joy and confidence in every beat and movement.Everything changed when I lost my father. Along with the emotional loss came the sudden responsibility of supporting my family. It was a difficult time, and I had to make a crucial decision—choose stability or follow my passion. I chose both. I decided to turn my love for dance into my profession, because giving up on Kathak was never an option for me. Dance has always been my strength, my identity, and my deepest connection to life.Since 2019, I have been working as a dance instructor in various academic settings. Currently, I serve as a TGT Dance Teacher at DAV Public School, where I continue to inspire and guide the next generation of dancers.Some of the most rewarding moments in my career come from watching my students grow and perform with confidence. I now regularly perform both solo and group pieces alongside my students, showcasing our shared dedication and love for the art form. These performances reflect not just technical skill, but also the emotional depth that dance brings into our lives.My signature style is rooted in traditional Kathak, enriched with expressive storytelling and graceful movements that resonate with diverse audiences. Through every performance and every lesson, I aim to preserve the essence of Kathak while proving that passion, when pursued wholeheartedly, can become the strongest foundation for both purpose and livelihood.
