Alyssa Mendonsa is a professional singer and songwriter based out of Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is a performer, entertainer and Filmfare Award nominee. She has also won award in GIMA awards.
She comes from a prestigious family. Her father, Loy Mendonsa, is a popular music composer and is often seen composing music for a number of films under the trio music brand called Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. She has been singing from her childhood, all thanks to her father and the love of music she has developed from him.
Her journey of a playback singer in Bollywood started with the song, Uff Teri Ada, from Karthik Calling Karthik, which turned a big hit giving her a good launch pad for the very first venture. She then got the chance to sing for the Sajid Khan's film called Housefull, singing two songs called Oh Girl and Papa Jag Jayega along with Ritu Pathak and Neeraj Shridhar.
Her next vocal song was Adhoore for the film, Break Ke Baad, also turned out a popular song. She sung the song called Baby When You Talk to Me for the film, Patiala House, as well. One of her popular original composition is "You Were There For Me" which she has written and produced herself.
