Biography

AlgoRhythm is a DJ based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The duo deals in fresh, eclectic and syncopated beats peppered with funk. They are quite an experimenter when it comes to diverse genres of music. The duo is inspired from retro and disco/funk from the era of 1980s such as Breakbot, Roosevelt, Chromeo, Aeroplane, and Friendly Fires. For people who like it a little bit grungier, AlgoRhythm is for them! They don't want to be classified or cornered into a single area because they enjoy experimenting and bringing in new influences. They play everything ranging from electro swing, chill wave, deep house, hip hop, UK bass, and ghetto funk to glitch hop. Over the last three years, they have performed at some of the big venues in India, in states like Maharashtra, Delhi, Karnataka, West Bengal, Rajasthan, and Goa. Besides, they have also performed in Sri Lanka. AlgoRhythm has played at famous music festivals like NH7, Lost, EVC, and Bass Camp, to name a few. They like their beats 'high' and their bass 'down low'.
