My Compelling Story

Alaap is a contemporary Indian rock band from the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The band was formed in 2011 and has grown enormously since then. They have been performing at numerous national and state level competitions. Alaap is an accumulation of various genres with Indian classical and folk music being the conspicuous ones, with its own compositions like Gajananayutham, Yendthi, Yenda and Bhimpalas. Alaap endeavors to bring out the various sights of Indian classical and folk music with a twist of jazz, rock, pop, metal, funk and reggae.
