Akhtar is a professional DJ based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He is amongst the top three DJs in India for more two decades. He introduced the club scene and dance music culture here way back in 1990. He has been enthralling his audiences that include film stars, socialites, international celebrities, and icons. He has played in almost all the night clubs in Mumbai like Enigma (JW Marriott), Trilogy (The Sea Princess Hotel), Velvet Lounge (Renaissance Powai), Starboard (Taj Mahal hotel), Vie Lounge, and Deck (Juhu) to name a few. DJ Akhtar was voted as the #2 DJ in India on the 'Zee Top 10', one of the most popular Indian television show in Europe and UK.
