We all realize what artist-lyricists are similar to – regularly beset, extremely passionate and unquestionably having a guitar. Delhi-based artist-lyricist Akash Vincent is, in each bit, the restless man, finishing the greater part of his verses with question marks when he sings about affection and misfortune on his four-track EP, Postcards. He is joined by the drummer Nikhil Mawkin, bassist Abhinav Khokhar, trumpet-player Rohit Gupta, and cellist Nâwa Lanzilotti. That is clear from the first tune, 'Assuming control', in which Vincent strums to an irresistible trumpet thunder. Vincent verifies you will chime in to the lines "And it's amusing this melody you enjoyed is currently about you...I trust it leaks right in like they generally do." That's the best part about musicians – they may regularly have a pop sensibility as a main priority while putting down their guitar parts. Vincent paces himself with consolations on "Seasons" and proceeds with the adoration subject of the EP on 'Caught', grabbing the vitality. When you hear him play his acoustic guitar to 'She', the keep-going track on the EP, you feel like there may be a fashionable person in him, whose adoration for delicate, calm and outside-the-box rock would represent those inclinations of customary over present day. Postcards is a short, calming EP for any individual who likes outside-the-box rock, acoustic society music and a dash of pop.
