The film won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi.He has also acted in an episodic TV serial Zee Horror Show (1995-1996).He has worked in different languages like Hindi, English, and Marathi.Ajinkya Deo is also the executive director of Prabhat Entertainment TV channel.Apart from being an actor, he is also a writer and has written the screenplay of Bollywood film Ek Krantiveer: Vasudev Balwant Phadke (2007).In 2016, he co-produced more than 20 episodes of TV serial 24: India..Ajinkya is an avid dog lover.
