Biography
Aishwarya Majmudar is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. She started learning Hindustani classical music from the age of three and by the time she turned five, she was tutored under Shri Monica Shah, Shri Aniket Khandekar, and Shri Gautam Mukherjee. As a child, she used to get very intrigued after watching musical shows on TV. Her mother and father recorded some of her performances and sent them to Zee TV. She was called for an audition and got selected for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa! At the age of 10, her exciting musical journey began. At the age of 14, she competed in Amul Chhote Ustaad on Star Plus and after an austere five months, Aishwarya became the winner of the show. She has lent her voice to lots of jingles and won the Best Female Vocalist in Gujarati for three successive years. She has also lent her voice for Subhash Ghai's film, Kaanchi. She has sung Hindi and Gujarati songs and her presence was also seen in Music Ka Maha Muqabala in Himesh Reshamiya's "Himesh's Warriors" team and in Antakshari-The Great Challenge. She was also awarded with the "Shahu Modak Award" in 2006, "Power-100" in 2008 and "Sangeet Ratna" by Government of Gujarat in 2009. She has also won Best Singer Female Award (Gujarat State Award) in Popular category for 5 consecutive years. And has Given over 3000 stage performances in India & Abroad.
