Agneya is a LIVE band based out of Kochi, Kerala. The Carnatic rock band’s name denotes ‘Rising from the Fire’. The contemporary rock band has a lot of Carnatic influences. Their music fetches you from the evil darkness haunting your own conscience to the vibrant flaming purity of fire. ‘Agnishudhi’ stands above all as per the traditional beliefs and spiritual legacy of the Indian culture. Agni purifies and liberates the human soul from all sins, so does music. Through their music, the band believes they can bring back all the happiness that is lost in today's busy schedule of common people and provide them with the exquisite ecstasy of inner peace! They are influenced by artists like Dream Theatre, Motherjane, Agam, L Sankar, and Shakti (John McLaughin).
