Agastya is a Delhi-based rock band. The name of the band originated from the Indian mythological saint Rishi Agastya who was in search of God. Similarly, Agastya has a motive to search Godliness through music. Since its formation in August 2010, it has grown to be named among the Sufi rock bands. They give a new touch and feel to their every performance, whether it is solo or rhythm patterns. As a music band, they always try to attach something new to their music. Their new compositions are refined till they have a reflection of joy and harmony. The members of Agastya are skilled, and have new ideas which are implemented in their performances. The ideas that are generated are from the minds of the following people: Josh – lead vocals Naveen Singh – lead guitars Vansh Wardhan – drums Ashish Dey – bass guitar Keshav Mudgal – keyboards Santom Jose – tabla and percussions
