Aditya Khandwe is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He is the son of Smt Vidya Khandwe, a performing Hindustani classical singer. Aditya was exposed to classical music since childhood and was trained by his mother. Later, at the age of 13, he was trained under the guidance of Late Pt Ratnakar Pai in the Jaipur Gharana Gayaki. He also received training in the Gwalior Gharana Gayaki from Late Pt Yeshwantbua Joshi. Subsequently, he undertook advanced training in Jaipur Gharana Gayaki from Late Gaanyogini Pandita Dhondutai Kulkarni. Aditya is one of the youngest artists that have received an A-Grade in Hindustani classical vocal category from All India Radio. He has two commercial classical music albums released, namely ‘Rising Stars’ by Sonic Octaves He has also sung for Marathi movies like ‘Paangira’ and ‘Mungala’. Aditya has also performed in a series of ‘Baithak’ produced by DD Bharti Channel with stalwarts like LK Pandit, Pt Vidyadhar Vyas, Pt Sharad Sathe, and Meeta Pandit representing the Gwalior Gharana.
