Across Seconds is a four-piece LIVE band based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. They are fairly known for fusing heartwarming melodies along with odd time signatures and polyrhythms. As being an instrumental band is itself a task, multiple variations and unexpected changes can be seen in their music and songs. The experimental/post-progressive instrumental band was the idea of Dhawal Mehta, who wanted to make a group free of any particular genre. He found the perfect band mates, Mayuresh Sitap and Karan Mehta. They played gigs together for around three years along with Samir Khot, the eldest and the most experienced person in the band. But, the band was finally completed with the addition of Swar Joshi on rhythm (occasionally lead) in 2013. The influences range from Porcupine Tree, Zero, Coshish, and Dream Theater to LoG, Zygnema, Slipknot, and Megadeth.
