The match was won by Bengal by five runs under the captaincy of Manoj Tiwari.In October 2018, he was included in the India-As squad for the 2018-19 Deodhar Trophy. He did not get the chance to play in the first match but in the second match, he scored 69 runs off 103 balls on 25 October 2018 at Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium (now Arun Jaitley Stadium) in New Delhi and help his side to post a total of 293 runs. India-A however, lost the match by 6 wickets.A few months later, he emerged as the leading run-scorer for the Bengal team in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy with 861 runs in 6 matches at an average of 95.66. Unfortunately, his team couldnt qualify for the quarter-finals. It was the same series where he scored his first double-century in First-class cricket against Punjab (201*). In the same season, he also scored 186 against Hyderabad. He then scored unbeaten 183 runs against Delhi as his team was able to chase down the target of 323 runs.On 25 May 2019, he played an unofficial test match against Sri Lanka A at Belagavi City in Karnataka where he scored 233 runs and helped his side to beat the team by an inning and 205 runs. His team was led by Priyank Panchal and scored 622 runs in the first inning. In reply, Sri Lanka could only manage 232 and 185 runs in both the inning. Easwaran was adjudged player of the match.In August 2019, he was called to the India Red teams squad for the 2019-20 Duleep Trophy wherein in the final, he scored 153 runs against India Green which put him under the radar of the national selectors.In October 2019, he was then named in India-As squad for the 201920 Deodhar Trophy. In this series, he only got to play a one-match where he scored 20 runs against India-B on 31 October 2019.
