Abhijeet Kosambi, based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai, started singing since his childhood. He soon began a professional training in classical singing. Abhijeet honed his harmonium skills and started singing officially for various Bhaavgeet and Bhaktigeet functions. After completing his schooling, he signed up for a diploma in singing at Shivaji University, Kolhapur under the guidance of Bharati Vaishampayan. Pandit Arun Kulkarni taught him classical music. Abhijeet has been the second runner-up in ETV's Saptsur Ek Sargam. He also participated in Maharashtra Sangeet Ratna and made his way to Mumbai. He was entitled 'Maharashtracha Pahila Mahagaayak' at Zee Marathi Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. Now, Abhijeet has also started doing playback singing and has worked with many prestigious names of the industry.
