My Compelling Story

Aakhira is about five young artists who make soulful melodies, energetic guitar riffs and lively beats. The band’s songs are all about the intense youthful pursuit of romance and dreams. Inspired by artists like Advaita, Parikrama, Incubus, Indian Ocean, RD Burman and Kishore Kumar, the aesthetics of the band has been nourished on sensitively raked music. In recent past, LIVE shows all over Delhi has fetched Aakhira their due fame on Indian soil.  Based out of New Delhi, some of the band’s influences are Arijit Singh, Atif Aslam, A.R Rehman, Advaita, Parikrama, Indian Ocean, Lagori, Sanam, Creed, Three Days Grace, Switchfoot, Coldplay, Breaking Benjamin, and a lot more! The band’s genres can be classified as Bollywood, Sufi rock, hard rock, blues, jazz, and fusion.
