Biography

Aakash Gupta is a professional comedian based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. He is a theatre actor and a standup comedian; his comedy talks about his experiences and observations ranging from his naani maa's (grandmother) taunts to life in a corporate office, from his dad ki Maruti (his father's car) to his behen ki shaadi (his sister's marriage). He has shared the stage with artists like Amit Tandon, Atul Khatri, Zakir Khan, Jeeveshu Ahluwalia, Appurv Gupta, Nitin Gupta Rivaldo, etc. and has performed at various venues like Epicentre and India Habitat Centre. He has performed in many colleges like Ramjas College, Hansraj College, Bhartiya Vidyapeeth University. He got featured in the Times of India for their show – LOL Tuesdays, in Epicentre, Gurgaon. He recently did some spots with the Canvas Laugh Club in Mumbai, and has also hosted for comedians at Canvas Laugh Club shows in Manhattan, Gurgaon, and Strikers (Vasant Kunj). He has recently started writing and acting in a series of Youtube comedy videos with The Humor Beings and Comedymunch. He has also been featured on NDTV Rising Stars of Comedy.
