Zero Gravity is a five member band came into existence at the end of year 2012. Three guys Deepraj on guitar, Anuj on bass guitar and Palak on drums started jamming. They realized that the riffs and their compositions were nothing but the feel of death with a progressive edge. Hence the genre of the band came up as Raw Death Metal. Zero Gravity from the small city of Indore is bound to change the perception of the scene. This young band with a female-fronted vocalist is playing death metal the way it should be played - raw, heavy, and with a progressive edge. The structures are meticulous and well-written and have more elements than most bands do. 'Holocaust Awaits' is a full length album that has top-notch artwork courtesy Anirudh Singh (Nuclear Puke Designs) and is produced by none other than Ashwin Shriyan (Demonic Resurrection). This is for the fans of Bolt Thrower, Sepultura and Death, among others. At the beginning, Deep took the place of the vocalist as well but to bring up the power in their music, the band came up with the decision of searching a free vocalist and finally their search ended up at the girl with the heavy throat. And so Kratika joined as the front man of Zero Gravity. From the very first show the band gained tremendous applause and continued to play big level competitions/gigs and earned a place in the metal scene of the country. The line up of the drummer kept fluctuating due to personal issues with no. of drummers. Band started up with Palak then along with Ankit deo the band played at around ten shows and now finally Divyansh has taken duty on drums.The band has released its maiden album Holocaust Awaits under the Transcending Obscurity distribution.
