Vikram Khade is a professional guitarist based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. Born and brought up in Thane, Vikram is also a freelance musician, composer, songwriter and guitar tutor.
His musical aspirations were sparked by childhood favourites like Guns N Roses, Michael Jackson, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Whitesnake, and Aerosmith. Inspired by rock legends like Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendrix and AC/DC, Vikram grew up to be a guitarist with a passion for classic rock, hard rock, and blues.
He graduated from The Musician’s Institute, LA in 2008, having learnt under the tutelage of Keith Wyatt, Tom Kolb, Jeff Young, Al Bonhomme, Scott Henderson and Dan Gilbert. He also trained for a year at the JAM Music Lab in Vienna, Austria.
Vikram’s musical career spans over a decade, having performed with various Indian artists at both national and international level.
He is currently a part of Bollywood Badshah, Leslie Lewis’s new project; the band is touring all over the country, performing at packed shows. Vikram has also performed with Bollywood singer, Shilpa Rao.
Vikram has recorded for many Bollywood and advertisement projects, as well as for regional cinema.
