Turbantastic is a professional photography service based out of the capital city of Maharashtra and the financial capital of India, Mumbai. It is the brainchild of Jaskaran Singh who is a cinematographer, retoucher, video editor, director and proprietor. Jaskaran is a graduate from Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Mumbai, in Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM). He also likes working on concepts and scripts, as his area of interest revolves around writing, shooting and editing. His liking for photography began when he started clicking photos on a Kodak film camera at the tender age of 10; he further moved to using the digital camera and now he uses various DSLR cameras and lenses. Not just portfolios, Turbantastic also clicks for special occasions, fashion shows, concept shoots, event coverage, and product shoots. Jaskaran has this ability to visualize his clients’ demands and hence he adds up his own flavor. He makes sure to make his clients feel comfortable during the shoots. Over the last one year, he worked in 10 weddings and pre-weddings. Jaskaran has also interned with Advait Vaidya, in his own production house – Gheuntak Films – as a cinematographer (DOP), assistant director and video editor. During the internship, he worked on the making of commercials of brands like Thumbs Up, Orient Electrical, J Hampstead, Sahara Q Shop, Indian Premier League, and more. Jaskaran has also worked as a DOP and assistant director for the YouTube advertisement of Livon Hair Care and also for a corporate film for Dutch Consulate in Mumbai.
