Third Eye is a LIVE band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. The all-powerful Third Eye is a metaphor for higher consciousness and enlightenment in ancient Hindu mythology. From jamming together every evening in a dusty storeroom, a bunch of five students went on to form the band, Third Eye, in 2008. This creative and energetic group expressed their love for music by playing in local gigs, college festivals, and rock concerts. From playing covers of classical and metal rock, Third Eye has also composed two original compositions – Corporeal Apocalypse and Small Fry – which have been really appreciated by their fans for bringing all the elements of rebellion and fun to their music.  Third Eye recently acquired a sixth member to provide additional mettle in their performances. Third Eye gets its musical inspiration from different genres of music like rock, metal, jazz, reggae, progressive, funk, psychedelic, classical, fusion, instrumental music, etc. Apart from frequent performances across the city, Third Eye has participated in the 2010 Commonwealth Games Youth Festival, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Delhi University. The group performed at the launch of Channel V-Spot Café in Gurgaon (2012), the Battle of Bands at MDI College, Gurgaon (2011) and won the 2010-Dhwani Rock Competition at Sardar Bhagwan Singh College, Dehradun. Their musical training and personal expression combine to create music that has the power to rouse, excite and inspire!
