Taktixx aka Pradeep Maharana is a professional DJ based out of finance capital of India, Mumbai. He has been active for the last 20 years. He began his journey with playing in Leopold’s Cafe in Mumbai in the year 1992. Pradeep went on to spin at Piano Bar, Tiger Tims, Velocity, and Waves. He moved to Kolkata in the late 90s to continue his DJing journey. There, he worked as a resident DJ at some legendary clubs like Anticlock at Hotel Hindustan International, Cloud 9, London Pub, and Tantra at The Park Hotel. He has also played at some big events and clubs in India and Bhutan. In 2011, his remix of Ash Roy’s 'Can Also Can' was launched on Elektrotribe Records (Germany). His debut EP, titled 'Hipnotic', was launched on Kroton Recordings (Germany) in the year 2012. In 2013, he launched his second EP, titled 'Silent Attack', on Soupherb Records. The EP climbed to #25 rank on Beatport Techno Chart. Currently, Taktixx is a resident DJ at Bonobo in Mumbai.
