Taal Yatra is a LIVE band based out of Lucknow. The instrumentalists and vocalists have found inspiration from Ustad Allah Rakkha and Ustad Sheikh Puttan under the direction of Ustad Zakir Hussain. They are headed by Sheikh Mohammad Ibrahim. He received training from Ustad Allah Rakkha Khan. They made their first successful presentation at Rai Umanath Auditorium, Lucknow, 2000. It is one of the most unique fusion bands in India with more than 150 instruments and 700 artists from states like Jammu and Kashmir, Uttrakhand, Punjab, Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh.
