Sukoonn the Solace is a duo band based out of the capital city of India, New Delhi. As the name suggests the collaboration is an attempt from the musicians to provide Sukoonn or Peace to people, through their music. This they have successfully been able to achieve. Members of the band, Ilmul Hoda and Someshwar Bittu Bhattacharya had a deep rooted intention to give music a shape that would create a widespread impact on the lives of the people. What could have been a better way than to create music that stands for Sukoonn and name the band on the same lines. Ilmul is the lead vocalist and songwriter and Bittu is the guitarist and back vocalist. Together they compose music that is enchanting. The duo has performed in almost all kinds of events like private functions, weddings, corporate shows, and headlined several college festivals. Some of the band’s influences are AR Rahman, RD Burman, Bryan Adams, Euphoria, Indian Ocean, Junoon, Jal, Nikleback, MLTR, Green Day, Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Ronan Keating, etc. The band had also been stood runners up at the Voboghureder Gaan Adda that took place in 2014.
