The indie pop playing trio from the North East of India, receive a chunk of their inspiration from affairs that affect everyday life like relationships, habits,
The band Street Stories was founded by the two brothers Riko and Pezo from the capital city of Meghalaya, Shillong. The two have been breathing and talking music ever since they were toddlers. As they grew up, their minds expanded and had the desire to get on further to form their own band. Although, at first it was just the two of them and a friend who was a drummer but eventually left. Nonetheless, this never blocked their way from building up their musical careers, they moved on with what they do best, i.e., making music. Finally, a year later, they met their current drummer. All three members are open to all sorts of musical genres. The band believes that any song with catchy tunes and strong melodies are the key ingredients to a good song. Band Members: The lead vocalist, Pezo Kronu, who also plays guitar for the band is also an aspiring composer and lyricist. Street Stories’ bassist, Riko Kronu, apart from being a frequent gamer, is a great person to work with especially considering the fact that he is what some people call a 'Yes Man'. Unlike the cliché notion of the lead vocalist being the one who people faint for, their drummer, Matsram is quite sought-after by the female population and why wouldn’t they? Not only is he a musician who has a BA degree in Music, he also knows his way around a canvas. In fact, the band’s album art of 'Summer Calling', was done by him. Originally from a Guwahati-based band called Digital Suicide, Daniel Langthasa, performs with Street Stories as a LIVE session player. He takes charge of the synths and programming and also plays the acoustic guitar for the band.
