Sree Ram Chandra is a professional singer based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He has been singing from his school days but began playback singing professionally when he turned 17. He completed his 5th year in Carnatic vocals from Sri Bhakta Ramadasa Music College, Marredpally, Secunderabad. After participating in ETV’s singing reality TV show, ‘Sye’, Telugu music director, Koti, noticed Sree Ram's talent and made him sing the song, ‘Chirugalithone Adiga’, for the movie, Notebook. He got his break by singing the title song for 2008 Telugu comedy film, Ashta Chamma. He worked with some famous music directors such as Mani Sharma, Ramana Gogula, and Kalyan Mallik. Ram performed the hit song, ‘Tum Mile’, to which Bollywood music director, Pritam, commented that Sreeram was ready to begin playback singing immediately. Sree Ram recorded a duet song with the famous singer, Shreya Ghoshal, for a Telugu movie. He won the fifth edition of the musical reality TV show, Indian Idol 5, and was awarded the title by Amitabh Bachchan. In 2013, he made his acting debut in Telugu cinema with the movie, ‘Sri Jagadguru Aadi Sankara’. His debut lead role came with the film, ‘Prema Geema Jantha Nai’. Sree Ram also acted with Bollywood actor Salman Khan for a Suzuki TVC.
