Sonu Sood is a professional actor based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. He debuted with the role of an Indian superhero, Naag Raj (Pralay), in a TV commercial in 1997 to promote the TV series of the same. He starred in Farebi (2004), a Dhariwal Production film. The film also featured actors like Manasi, Simran, Rocky Sandhu, and Mukesh Rishi. The film and music were directed by Vicky Kumar and Daboo Malik respectively. His next film was Kuch Din Kuch Pal, a Spice Team Entertainment film starring actors like Sudhanshu Pandey, Bhoomika Puri, Anil Nagrath, Shruti Ulfat, Dilip Thadeshwar, and Rana Jung Bahadur. KS Shiva directed the film. Later, he was offered the lead role in The Lion of Punjab, which he declined. Sonu has floated a production company with his friend, Ajay Dhama, which was to be called Sonu Sood Production. He was producing a film called Lucky, Unlucky, opposite Mallika Sherawat and directed by Afzal Rizvi. The film got shelved.
