Slither is a five-piece metalcore band based out of the IT capital of India, Bangalore. The band was formed in 2011. Their music features heavy guitars and intense drumming that are catchy and powerful. Their song lyrics are inspired by environmental awareness, social relations, and experiences. Citing influences from bands such as Final Surrender, Texas In July, As I Lay Dying, August Burns Red, Parkway Drive, Killswitch Engage, The Devil Wears Prada, etc., Slither has marked its identity in their hometown with an increasing fan base. In 2012, the band released their first EP teaser of 'Shadow Conscience' and recorded three singles – Breathe, Curse of the Anomie, and The Warrior.
