Siddharth Banerjee is a professional standup comedian based out of the capital city of Karnataka, Bangalore. Siddharth realized that he had an ability in comedy when he did graduation in economics and began writing research reports. "My wife gives me moral support, by not attending my shows," says Banerjee. Sid is in the comedy circuit since the year 2011; he has performed nationwide and worldwide in Hong Kong and Australia. He won the Raw Comedy Festival Bangalore two times (2012 and 2014) as a part of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and also the Stand Up and Bajao contest organized by Red FM in the year 2013. Sid stood as a runner up in the Punchline Standup Comedy contest held in Chennai and Bangalore. He has performed for several corporate clients like Microsoft, AbsolutData, L&W Construction (Singapore), Appistocki, ANZ, and Magnasoft. Sid has also performed for NGOs like CUPA, VOSD for social causes, and also for disaster relief fund raisers (Nepal Earthquake). He has also performed with comedians like Praveen Kumar (among India's top 10 standup comedians), Sundeep Rao, Sanjay Manaktala (IT Guy fame), and Bollywood comedian Suresh Menon. Being in his mid 30s, Siddharth is easily able to relate with the working class and families alike with his humor.
