Shock Therapy is a LIVE band based out of Hyderabad, India. Genres such as brutal death, grindcore and slam have influenced the band and elements from these genres have been combined to describe lyrically the perverse nature of humanity. Thematically they talk about the destructive nature of man and the need for a shock therapy to bring him back to his senses. They are influenced by the works of Devourment, Cephalotripsy, Defeated Sanity, Gorgasm, Dying Fetus, Wormrot, Spasm, Gutalax, Cock and Ball Torture.
