Bio

Rukhsar Rehman is a professional actor based out of the finance capital of India, Mumbai. The television and film actress debuted in 1992 at the age of 13 in Deepak Yadav’s Yaad Rakhegi Duniya, opposite to Aditya Pancholi.

She also appeared in JK Bihari's Inteha Pyar Ki, opposite Rishi Kapoor. However, she left her acting career and moved back to her hometown to start a garment business at the request of her father.

She returned in 2005 with Ram Gopal Verma's crime drama D, opposite to Randeep Hooda. The same year, she appeared in RRGV’s Sarkar. In 2008, she appeared in Rumi Jaffrey's God Tussi Great Ho, opposite Salman Khan.

In 2009, she starred in The Stoneman Murders alongside Kay Kay Menon. She also had supporting roles in Knock Out (2010), Allah Ke Banday (2010), Benny and Babloo (2010), Shaitan (2011) and PK (2014).

In television, she has acted in Sony TV’s Kuch Toh Log Kahenge and In Life OK’s Tumahri Paakhi. She married Faruk Kabir, a filmmaker, in 2010.
