Reverse Xtinction is a technical metal band based out of Dibrugarh, Assam. Formed in 2012, the songs are mixed and mastered by Siddhant Das of Dreamcatcher Studio. The band plays an eclectic mix of heavy metal, progressive rock and elements of blues, funk, jazz and other root genres, leaving listeners heady with the depth and versatility of the band’s sound. Reverse Xtinction identifies itself as a progressive metal band. Often shortened to RevX, the band is currently working on the release of their debut EP. Recently, the band has released its second single titled Blackhole.
