Restless Desire is a progressive rock band based out of Tura, Meghalaya and was formed in the year 2010. The band draws influence from bands like Tool, Judas Priest, Dream Theatre, Circus Maximus, Myrath, Porcupine Tree, Opeth, Tesseract, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, etc. The name Restless Desire was inspired after seeing the restlessness of drug dependent youths when they tried to quit the addiction and yet still have the urge and the desire to continue the habit in their minds.
