Rajasthan Roots is a LIVE band based out of the pink city of India, Jaipur.  Formed in 2005, by Aditya Bhasin aka Adi Das, under the mentorship of John and Faith Singh, and guidance of anthropologer, Vinod Joshi, of Jaipur Virasat Foundation, the band fulfills the need of contemporary interpretation of the folk music of Rajasthan and brings it to international standards. By keeping its essence intact, Rajasthan Roots emphasize to introduce warmth and depth - bass, vocal harmonies, effects to the music, and also produces the electrifying percussion of Rajasthan into a pulsative groove.  By writing their own songs, the musicians leave their own legacies behind for future generations to follow and creating the new sounds of Rajasthan. Rajasthan Roots also works as an interface between the traditional and international artists wanting to collaborate their cultures.
